Dear Ms. Nguyen:

Congratulations! We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted as an intern at the Gaplan Representation Organization (GRO). On behalf of the entire Board of Trustees, I’m excited to welcome you to our community. At the GRO, you’ll join a vibrant and passionate team tackling some of the most pressing issues in Southeast Europe and beyond—from ethnic reconciliation and sustainable development to self-determination and environmental advocacy.

The Board of Trustees meets weekly on Saturdays at 6:30 PM (Central European Time) / 9:30 AM (U.S. Pacific Time).* While attendance is not mandatory for interns, we strongly encourage you to join—your participation counts toward volunteer service hours and can accelerate your path to trusteeship.

You’ll soon be paired with a mentor from our Board of Trustees who leads a project aligned with your interests. To help us find the best fit, we’d love to hear more about what excites you. You can share your interests by attending a Board meeting or emailing us directly—whether you’re drawn to research, student tutoring through our sustainable development initiatives, or data analysis for our Ethnic Reconciliation Index, there’s a place for you to make an impact.

Once again, congratulations and welcome to the GRO! We’re excited to have you on board and can’t wait to see the difference you’ll make.

Kind regards,

Wyatt Baek
President of the GRO
